Bryan Jefferson

Founder & CEO

Bryan has worked as an IT consultant for numerous Fortune 1000 companies including Sprint, International Network Services, Lucent, Charles Schwab, AAA, JP Morgan, Chase, LucasArts, Avaya, and J.D. Power and Associates. He was also tapped to build and operate the IT solution for the 2006 FIFA World Soccer Cup in Germany.

In 2008, Bryan launched the SOHO Shop, a smart home/business solutions firm, an experience that paved the way for SmartCare because Bryan's real mission was to find a way to use technology to improve the quality of life for aging senior citizens.

Deeply impacted by the loss of his grandmother who died alone, unable to call for help and his father who suffered multiple serious illnesses and lived thousands of miles away, Bryan was determined to find a way to help seniors live safer, happier, and more independent lives. It is with this mission in mind that he launched SmartCare in 2012.

Bryan has appeared on the cover of CE Pro Magazine along with Co-founder Scott Mosher highlighting the SmartCare System. He has also been featured in prominent national and local publications including:

  • INC 5000 List of fastest growing Private Companies
  • Greater St Louis Business Man of the Year 2014
  • Greater St Louis SBA Small Business of the Year
  • Business Journal's 2014 CFO of the Year Small Corporation
  • Named among the top in St. Louis Fastest Growing Companies 2014
